WoW! What a crazy start to this adventure! A little trouble with the visa, but it's all being ironed out as I type! I spent the entire day on the 13th following the moon in darkness, it's been about 21 hours since I saw sunlight, and I'm standing in the departures area of the main international airport in Taiwan, waiting for the dollars exchange to open, then the booth where I can print my Vietnam Visa so they let me on the plane... cross your fingers for me! I packed super light since I'm carrying my whole load on my back, but have realized already that I forgot a few minor things at home, nothing major, sticky tabs and there wee junk that I normally bring to organize myself ;) Anywho, It's actually August 14th, 6:AM here in Taiwan, and I believe August 13the 6:PM at home, I have one more hour to add on to my time difference when I arrive in Vietnam, so I'll officially be 13 hours ahead of you... see if you can catch me!
